We anticipate that Specware will soon be released as an open source project. Currently the options for obtaining it are the following:

Commercial Licensing

Specware is available to selected government, and commercial research partners. If you are interested in evaluating or licensing Specware for research or commercial purposes, please contact us at licensing@kestrel.edu.

Academic Licensing

Kestrel Institute licenses Specware to academic researchers and institutions through its KEEP program. For information on their requirements and licensing options, please contact us at KEEP@kestrel.edu.
